| dc.description.abstract | El artículo teórico analiza el estado del arte sobre los desafíos de la docencia universitaria en contextos indígenas e interculturales a través de una revisión de la literatura normativa y científica a nivel nacional e internacional. Los principales resultados aportan un estado del arte sobre los modelos educativos y el desarrollo histórico de la Educación Superior en contexto indígena e intercultural, donde se evidencia sus bases, pilares y finalidades. Se concluye que es urgente incorporar el enfoque educativo intercultural en la docencia y formación profesional, para superar la homogeneización y monoculturalidad de las prácticas educativas en la Educación Superior, desde un pluralismo epistemológico intercultural. | |
| dc.description.abstracten | The theoretical article analyzes the state of the art on the challenges of university teaching in indigenous and intercultural contexts by reviewing normative and scientific literature at the national and international levels. The main results provide a state of the art on educational models and the historical development of higher education in an indigenous and intercultural context, where its bases, pillars and purposes are evident. It is concluded that it is urgent to incorporate the intercultural educational approach and intercultural communication skills in teaching and professional training to overcome the homogenization and monoculturality of educational practices in Higher Education, as an intercultural epistemological pluralism. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved. | |
