dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo tiene como objetivo comprender el problema de la tierra en la Araucanía a partir de su desarrollo histórico, considerando principalmente sus dimensiones socioeconómicas y sus consecuencias políticas. Para ello, se realiza un análisis en base a antecedentes bibliográficos, lo que permite trazar una trayectoria de diversos hitos que han marcado los caminos de la Araucanía hasta hoy. En este sentido, algunas de las características actuales de la región, como la pobreza, la desigualdad y el conflicto, se pueden analizar desde la mirada de las acciones y acontecimientos que ocurrieron en este período. Las principales conclusiones señalan que la ocupación y colonización de la Araucanía por parte del Estado chileno, dan lugar a una serie de problemas locales con respecto a la tierra que no se han resuelto, sino que han avanzado y se han extendido. Esto ha generado inestabilidad en el espacio rural de la región, por lo que los problemas sociales y económicos provocan nuevas crisis políticas. El problema de la tierra, muy ligado al subdesarrollo, en este período pasó de ser un problema económico-social, a un problema político permanente, una disputa por el territorio, en una lógica colonización y resistencia (descolonización).
dc.description.abstractenThe objective of this paper is to understand the land problem in Araucanía based on its historical development, mainly considering its socioe-conomic dimensions and its political consequences. To do this, an analysis is carried out based on bibliographic background, which allows us to trace a trajectory of various milestones that have marked the paths of Araucanía until today. In this sense, some of the current characteristics of the region, such as poverty, inequality and conflict, can be analyzed from the perspective of the actions and events that occurred in this period. The main conclusions indicate that the occupation and colonization of Araucanía by the Chilean State gives rise to a series of local problems regarding land that have not been resolved but have advanced and spread. This has generated instability in the rural space of the region, so social and economic problems cause new political crises. The land problem, closely linked to underdevelopment, in this period went from being an economic-social problem to a permanent political problem, a dispute over territory, in a logical colonization and resistance (decolonization).
