dc.description.abstractSe describen y analizan las prácticas de cuidado ante la muerte y su expresión narrativa en el contexto ritual de Perico, una localidad de la Provincia de Jujuy, Argentina. Abordamos una relación poco explorada entre cuidados y muerte, a partir de materiales originales recabados mediante observación y entrevistas abiertas, extensas y recurrentes, en el marco de un extenso trabajo de campo entre los años 2009 y 2014. Desde un abordaje cualitativo, desarrollamos una estrategia interpretativa a partir de la deconstrucción de significados en torno de las creencias sostenidas por nuestros informantes. Prestamos especial atención a los ritos mortuorios en el contexto del Día de los Muertos, los que ponen en evidencia la combinación de concepciones ancestrales y experiencias religiosas, como las estrategias cognitivas relativas a la significación de la vida y la muertees_ES
dc.description.abstractThe practices of care before death and its narrative expression are described and analyzed in the ritual context of Perico, a locality of the Province of Jujuy, Argentina. We approach a relationship underexplored between care and death, from original materials collected through observation and open, extensive and recurrent interviews, within the framework of extensive field work between 2009 and 2014. From a qualitative approach, we developed an interpretive strategy based on the deconstruction of meanings around the beliefs held by our informants. We pay special attention to the mortuary rituals in the context of the Day of the Dead, which highlight the combination of ancestral conceptions and religious experiences, such as cognitive strategies related to the meaning of life and deathes_ES
