dc.description.abstractEn la medida que más se conozca el marco teórico de la conexión precalificada BFP Bolted Flange Plate se diseñará de mejor forma, razón por la cual en este artículo se presenta con cierto detalle, en 17 pasos, el diseño de esta conexión que es muy adecuada para zonas de alta peligrosidad sísmica. El marco teórico se complementa con el desarrollo de un ejemplo numérico y finalmente se realizan varias recomendaciones prácticas sobre la conexión BFP. ABSTRACT: Asthe theoretical framework of the BFP Bolted Flange Plate pre-qualified connection is better known, it will be better designed. Consequently,in thispaperit is presented in some detailthis connection type, summarized in 17 steps. The design of this connection is recommendedfor steel buildings designed for areas withhigh seismic hazard.The theoretical framework is complemented with the development of a numerical example and finally several practical recommendations on the BFP connection are made.
