The social movement that has recently emerged in Chile has demanded the need to reform the current health system because it is considered unfair. This article aims to analyze the Chilean health system from the theories of social justice, identifying which would be at the base of this and of the health proposals made by the government after the social outbreak. Other theoretical approaches related to the concept of justice are proposed to achieve a change in the health system that is in tune with citizen demand.
