dc.description.abstractEl suicidio es un acto intencional y violento del sujeto contra sí mismo, siendo así uno de los comportamientos humanos más complejos. El análisis de notas suicidas ha mostrado eficacia para la comprensión del comportamiento suicida, pero ha sido escasamente considerado en el contexto latinoamericano. Este estudio exploró la movilización afectiva previa al acto suicida vía el análisis de 203 notas de sujetos que consumaron suicidio en Chile (2010-2012), interpretadas desde la Teoría Fundamentada, mediante el método de comparación constante y saturación teórica. Resaltaron las categorías afecto positivo, negativo, depresivo y estado de desesperación. Se concluye que los problemas en el área interpersonal y afectos emergentes, constituyen un elemento esencial en el drama y para la atención del suicida.
dc.description.abstractenSuicide is a violent conduct causing one-self’s death, and as such is one of the most complex phenomena of human behaviour. Suicide-note analyses have shown efficacy to comprehensively understand suicidal behaviour, but have been unfrequently conducted in Latin-America. The present study explored affective mobilization in the moments prior to the suicidal acts through an analysis of 203 of suicide notes from completed suicides in Chile (2010 – 2012). Interpretation was conducted according to Grounded Theory with the methods of constant comparison and theoretical saturation. The findings showed mainly positive affection, negative affection, depressive affection, and despair. It was concluded that interpersonal problems and emerging affections constituted crucial elements to understand suicidal behaviour.
