dc.description.abstractEn este estudio se evaluó el grado de habilidad para cuidar a otros que tienen las enfermeras/os del área de hospitalización del Hospital del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social (IESS), Milagro, Ecuador. Se aplicó un diseño cuantitativo, descriptivo y transversal que permitió la valoración del grado de habilidad a partir del Inventario de Habilidad de Cuidado, a una muestra de 31 enfermeras/os. Se concluye que la mayoría posee habilidad de cuidado con un nivel alto de conocimiento y paciencia, y valor mayoritariamente en nivel bajo. Se demuestra una correlación positiva significativa entre edad, habilidad de cuidado total, conocimiento y paciencia.
dc.description.abstractenIn this study evaluated the degree of ability to care for others who have nurses of the hospitalization area of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (IESS), Milagro, Ecuador. A quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional design was applied that allowed the assessment of the degree of skill from the skill inventory of care, in a sample of 31 nurses. It is concluded that the majority has ability to care with a high level of knowledge and patience, and value mostly in low level. A significant positive correlation between age, ability of total care, knowledge and patience was showed.
