El filósofo alemán Ernst Bloch es conocido por haber estudiado y recuperado el poder del imaginario utópico, por insistir en la dignidad humana y por su repensar crítico de la religión. Ha sido recibido en América Latina como un interlocutor preferido sobre todo por algunos representantes de la filosofía y teología intercultural y de la liberación. Thomas Müntzer en el cual Bloch trata el tema del futuro inacabado en el pasado y, más específicamente, su teología mística y la espiritualidad del movimiento del «hombre común» en la Alemania de los siglos XIII a XVI. Es interesante redescubrir esta espiritualidad, ya que se encuentra ligada a la defensa de las comunidades y de lo que actualmente se denomina los «bienes comunes»
The German philosopher Ernst Bloch is known for having studied and recovered the power of the Utopian imaginary, for insisting on human dignity and for re-thinking his critique of religion. In Latin America he has been received as a favoured interlocutor, above all by some representatives of intercultural and liberation philosophy and theology. The object of this article is to go examine this dialogue more deeply from a re-reading of Bloch’s book on Thomas Müntzer in which he discusses the theme of the unfinished future in the past, and more specifically his mystic theology and the spirituality of the «common man» movement in Germany of the 13th –16th centuries. It is of interest to rediscover this spirituality, since it is linked to the defence of communities and what today are called «commons»
