dc.description.abstractLos establecimientos educativos son espacios fundamentales de la vida cotidiana que configuran la identidad en un proceso permanente en condiciones socio históricas particulares. Este estudio describe la construcción discursiva de identidad de lugar de jóvenes mapuche.Para ello, desarrollamos una investigación cualitativa y descriptiva,que analiza, con el enfoque de identidades espaciales de (DIXON yDURREIHM, 2000), un corpus conformado por entrevistas a adolescentes mapuche, que habitan en las ciudades de Temuco y Santiago. Los jóvenes desarrollan tres modos de vinculación con la escuela o liceo que influyen en la construcción de su identidad étnica:identificación, pertenencia y apegoen_US
dc.description.abstractEducational institutions are fundamental spaces of daily life thatshape identity in a permanent process and in particular socio-historicalconditions. This study is to describe the discursive construction ofplace identity of young Mapuche people. For this purpose, wedeveloped a qualitative and descriptive research using the spatialidentities approach of (DIXON AND DURREIHM, 2000), whichanalyses a corpus of interviews with Mapuche adolescents, from thecities of Temuco and Santiago. The adolescents develop three ways oflinkage with the school or high school place that influence theconstruction of their ethnic identity: identification, belonging andattachment
