The following article presents a critical reflection on intersubjective relations in the field of interculturality. From this perspective, dialogue emerges as an important factor, as it represents a fundamental element of intersubjective relations between kimches and Western teachers. This would favor coexistence in an intercultural context, since the knowledge of the Other constitutes one of the essential sources for the construction of common life projects. In this respect, within an intercultural educational framework, Mapuche cultural knowledges should be recognized, understood, valued and validated from an epistemological perspective, in order to contribute to the education of Mapuche and non-Mapuche people who live and interact in the same society.
